Objectives
The purpose for which the Okeechobee Model Airplane Club was formed is to promote and foster the development of Model Aviation as a recognized sport, worthwhile recreational activity and to allow for the social events amoung its members. This club is organized for pleasure, recreation, education and other non-profitable purposes, substantially all of the activities of which are for such purposes. None of the net earnings shall inure to the benefit of any private shareholder or individual. More particular purposes are listed below, but shall not be considered exclusive.
A. Promote public acceptance, awarenes and goodwill toward this sport/hobby.
B. Stimulate interest of the general public by use of shows, demonstrations and special flying and non-flying events.
C. Promote youth activity by special programs, school visits and any other means necessary to acquaint youth in the fields of aviation, aeronautics and this sport/hobby.
D. To have as its guiding principal, Of, By and For the Model Airplane Enthusiast.
E. Assist in the art, design, construction and proper flying of model aircraft.
